The Academic Personnel Review Process for Ladder-Rank Actions
This workshop is intended for new and continuing department chairs and department managers who process ladder-rank review files.

Topics to include:
The workshop will include a detailed walk-through of the policies and procedures for processing a review file for a ladder-rank faculty member's professorial advancement.
Presented by the Academic Personnel Office (APO) and the Campus Diversity Officer for Faculty, Herbie Lee. The purpose of this workshop is to provide information on the best practices and tools necessary to run successful and compliant recruitments.
This workshop is required for search committee chairs and diversity liaisons. However, ALL committee members are highly encouraged to attend.
Topics to include:
Fair hiring (laws and policies related to equal employment opportunity and affirmative action), introduction to the Faculty Recruitment Toolkit, key issues for search committees in the faculty recruitment process, and how to effectively document the search process.

To give ALL employees information regarding their benefit plans and how to best invest for retirement. Schedule of various workshops sponsored by SHR
