Re: Represented Academic Researchers Salary Scale Issuance
Dear Colleagues:
In accordance with the contractual agreement between the University of California and the International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America, the January 1, 2020 salary scales for represented Academic Researchers are issued below.
Represented Professional Research Series: adjusted by a general range adjustment increase of 4.5%
Represented Project Scientist Series: adjusted by a general range adjustment increase of 4%
Represented Specialist Series: adjusted by a general range adjustment increase of 4%
The scales will vary slightly due to smoothing. The effective date for monthly paid employees is January 1, 2020 and January 12, 2020 for bi-weekly paid employees.
The campus scales have been updated and are available online on the Academic Personnel Office web site (Academic Salary Scales). Please bring these revised scales to the attention of appropriate individuals in your units, including PIs, research accountants, and payroll coordinators. Questions may be directed to apo@ucsc.edu.
