Re: 2018-19 Lecturer with Security of Employment Academic Salary Scales Issuance
Dear Colleagues:
The salary scales for the Lecturer with Security of Employment (LSOE) Series have been adjusted effective January 1, 2019. The adjustment is a result of the revision to APM 285 that was effective October 1, 2018.
The new LSOE scales are to be applied to new appointments made on or after January 1, 2019. Existing LSOEs will transition to these scales effective July 1, 2019 following a consultative step placement process. Information about the transition process will be forthcoming.
The academic salary scales are available online on the Academic Personnel Office web site (Academic Salary Scales). Please bring these revised scales to the attention of appropriate individuals in your units. Questions may be directed to apo@ucsc.edu.
