Dear Colleagues:
Effective Immediately, I delegate authority to the deans for initial appointments of Assistant Professor and equivalent titles, at steps 1-3, up to the published salary of Professor, step 3 on the applicable salary scale. Currently, the limit is $106,300 on the regular scale and $123,300 on the business/economics/engineering scale.
Please notify the Academic Personnel Office when you plan to make an offer to a candidate at an AAU institution or another UC campus.
