Revisions to CAPM 806.600 Additional Compensation of Academic Appointees

Dear Colleagues:

Re:  Revisions to CAPM 806.600 Additional Compensation of Academic Appointees

I write to notify you that revisions have been made to campus academic personnel policy (CAPM) 806.600, Additional Compensation of Academic appointees. These revisions are made in order to conform with system-wide academic personnel policy and to align the policy with the transition from the Payroll/Personnel System (PPS) to UCPath.

  1. UNEX: the language in CAPM 806.600 has been updated to conform with APM 663, Additional Compensation: University Extension.
  2. Honorarium: the maximum per event has been updated per the memo from Provost Brown dated May 11, 2018.
  3. The “Summary by Payee Type” tables: the “method of payment” column was removed.

These revisions are effective immediately. A redline document of the updates is available upon request.
