Re: 2016-17 Graduate Student Researcher and ASE Academic Salary Scales Issuance
Dear Colleagues:
The salary scales for the Academic Student Employees (ASE) titles have been adjusted in accordance with the contractual agreement between the International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW) and the University of California. The salary rates have been increased by a general range adjustment of 4% with an effective date of October 1, 2016.
In addition, effective October 1, 2016, the salary scale for Graduate Student Researchers is adjusted by 4%.
The campus academic salary scales have been updated and are available online on the Academic Personnel Office web site (Academic Salary Scales). Please bring this revised scale to the attention of appropriate individuals in your units. Questions may be directed to Cecilia De La Garza, Academic Personnel Office (cdelagar@ucsc.edu).
