Re: 2016-17 Represented Librarian Academic Salary Scale Issuance
Dear University Librarian Cowell:
The salary scale for represented librarians has been increased in accordance with recent bargaining negotiations between the University of California and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT). The rates have been increased by 1.5% and are effective January 1, 2017.
In addition, the represented librarians will receive a lump sum for the period between July 1, 2017 and January 1, 2017 (by February 3, 2017).
The campus represented librarian salary scale has been updated and is available online on the Academic Personnel Office web site (Academic Salary Scales). Please bring this revised scale to the attention of appropriate individuals in your units. Questions may be directed to Susan Fellows (sfellows@ucsc.edu).
