Re: Unit 18 Faculty Salary Scales 2022
Dear Colleagues:
Effective February 1, 2022, the Unit 18 salary scales are changing in accordance with the recently ratified collective bargaining agreement between the University Council - American Federation of Teachers (UC-AFT) and the University of California. The changes remove the lowest starting salary point, increase the scales by a general range adjustment of 7.0%, and provide distinct salary points instead of ranges.
The revised scales are now published in our campus Academic Salary Scales. Please share this information with the appropriate individuals in your unit(s). Information about transitioning current Unit 18 appointees to the new scales will be forthcoming.
